About Priority Plumbing
We’re a family-owned plumbing company with a growing team of nine, which includes master plumbers, journeymen and apprentices working side by side out of Pocahontas, Illinois. Priority Plumbing serves residential and commercial customers across five counties in Southern Illinois, handling everything from everyday plumbing repairs to larger installations and system upgrades.
Every job gets the same standard: honest diagnosis, clear options, and quality workmanship that lasts. It’s the kind of follow-through that keeps homeowners, businesses, and property managers calling us back, and it’s how we run every truck, every day.
Kyle Gruner’s Story
Priority Plumbing Services was founded by Kyle Gruner, a licensed master plumber with over 14 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing across Southern Illinois.
Kyle entered the trade through a high school co-op program in Highland, Illinois, and spent the next 12 years advancing through every level of the profession — from apprentice to journeyman to licensed contractor. That foundation gave him both the technical skill and the business perspective to build something of his own.
In 2024, he launched Priority Plumbing Services with a clear vision: deliver the quality of work and level of honesty that homeowners and businesses deserve, without the pressure tactics that give the industry a bad name. The company has since grown to a team of five skilled plumbers serving Madison, Bond, Clinton, Montgomery, and Macoupin Counties.
Every job at Priority Plumbing is held to the same standard: do the work right, stand behind it, and build relationships that last.
Our Community
Kyle serves on the Greenville and Highland Chambers of Commerce, sponsors the Bond County K9 program, and advertises with local station 101.7 WGEL. For him, being part of the community isn’t a marketing line, it’s simply how he was raised and how he believes a local business should operate.
