How We Got Started
Every business has an origin. This one was built in the field.
Kyle Gruner entered the plumbing trade during his junior year of high school through a co-op program at a small plumbing company in Highland, Illinois. He started at the bottom — organizing the shop, loading vans, learning by watching — and never left the trade.
Over the next 12 years, Kyle advanced through the ranks, joined the union hall, earned his license, and developed the kind of expertise that only comes from years of hands-on work across residential and commercial projects. Throughout that time, one goal remained constant: to one day build and operate a plumbing company of his own.
When the time was right, Kyle made the decision to step out on his own and launch Priority Plumbing Services.
What started as a solo operation has since grown into a nine-member team of licensed plumbers now trusted by homeowners and businesses across Southern Illinois.

Meet the Team
Kyle Gruner owns and runs Priority Plumbing Services out of Pocahontas, IL. He’s a licensed plumber in Illinois with more than 12 years of trade experience before going out on his own. He leads a team of journeymen and apprentices who share the same approach to the work: show up, do it right, treat the customer’s home with respect.
